Did You Get Travel Insurance Yet?

The Insurance companies I recommend are Hey Mondo and Safety Wing

Hey Mondo is great if you are looking for a great value flexible policy. They offer single-trip cover, annual multi-trip cover, and long-term travel cover. Safety Wing is great value, with monthly coverage starting at $45.08. It’s super easy to use, and it just renews each month. I currently use them as they offer me free cover for my son as part of my policy.

Doing a Yoga Retreat Will Help You Feel Grounded While Traveling

Transitioning from Northern Thailand and the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and Chaing Mai to Southern Thailand and the quieter Island life was jarring. I didn’t realize it at the time but I was still in city mode and hadn’t adjusted to this new slower speed. Spending a few days reconnecting, slowing down, and grounding myself on a short Yoga retreat helped me to relax and enjoy my holiday more.

Plus all that travel and sitting still on long coach journeys between places shorten your muscles. Doing yoga will stretch and elongate those muscles!

After Bangkok, Chiang Mai, traveling, not sleeping, stressing about getting from one place to another, etc I felt totally out of whack. Spending a few days doing yoga in Thailand and grounding myself did me the world of good. When I left the yoga retreat center I felt calmer and more adapted to my surroundings.

The People You Will Meet on the Retreat

When I’m traveling solo I’m always looking for ways to meet other like minded people, well what better way than on a Thailand yoga retreat? I only booked into Island Yoga Thailand for 3 days and if I could have I would have stayed longer. The people I met there were incredible, warm, welcoming, and a lot of fun. I’m actually still in touch with 3 of the people I met there almost 8 years later!

If you are traveling solo doing an activity-based stay like this Thailand yoga retreat is the perfect way to meet other solo travelers. Most people there were traveling solo. Doing a yoga retreat while traveling solo is always a good idea.

Sounds like a perfect getaway! We've been to thailand but not in the outskirts of Bangkok yet as we have a very limited time. Also, I've never been on a beach in Thailand lol. I'm looking forward to the beaches in Thailand soon and get to experience Yoga as well. If in case, that's gonna be my first time!
